The new Bouwkunde is able, throught a dynamic and flexible layout, to be in a continuous communication with both other faculties in the campus and non-academic environments, so highlighting its special role in these contexts. The new faculty is composed of several parts placed on the Mekelpark’s grid. Each of these (parts), throught various frames, originates and terminates in the principal structure which is located in the area of the old Bouwkunde.
