| The
intervention, impelled by strong client love to places of infancy
and of adolescence, aims at recovering the use of building and
sets out to preserve both the architectonic identity and the relation
with the surrounding space. The building is a typical farm of
Puglia and is composed of “lamioni” that are rooms
with a barrel vaulted roof and with double-pitch argil covering.
These “lamioni”, that testify a past constructor technique,
were utilized both as a cowshed and as a country residence but
subsequently these spaces were fled. To-day this building has
been restored and are utilized by clients as a country residence
to keep the bond with these placed. Tufa, stone, red tiles and
fire-place as well as interior fitting are elements that have
been turned by a minimum intervention. Bath-room and kitchen,
as new spaces, have been builded and the tufa has been used as
building material. Old doors and old wood fixtures have been recovered
and painted with blue colour, a evident Mediterranean mark. |
| L’intervento,
motivato da un forte legame affettivo della Proprietà ai
luoghi in cui ha vissuto l’infanzia e l’adolescenza,
ha avuto l’obiettivo di recuperare all’uso il fabbricato
conservandone l’identità architettonica e la relazione
con lo spazio a contorno; l’edificio, tipica masseria pugliese,
è caratterizzato da “lamioni” con volta a botte
che si conclude con copertura a doppia falda e tegole di argilla
cotta, testimonianza di una tecnica costruttiva in disuso da decenni
che era affidata a veri maestri costruttori di quei tempi; questi
volumi erano adibiti a stalla e a residenza rurale, poi furono
dismessi e quasi abbandonati e oggi, grazie all’intervento
conservativo, sono utilizzati dalla Proprietà come residenza
di campagna ma ancor più sono un pretesto per conservare
i rapporti con i luoghi. Tufo, pietra, tegole rosse, camino sono
gli elementi che sono stati valorizzati con un intervento assolutamente
minimalista anche negli arredi che sono stati utilizzati per assicurare
la fruizione, sia pure episodica; sono stati realizzati, come
volumi aggiuntivi, i servizi igienici e la cucina utilizzando
il tufo a vista come materiale di costruzione e utilizzando porte
e infissi in legno recuperati e colorati con vernice azzurra,
un chiaro segno mediterraneo. |
